Here are some questions frequently asked about the San Lorenzo Dog Training Club.

- What classes do you offer?
- We offer Beginning, Novice, Open, and Utility classes. In addition, we have Puppy Socialization classes for puppies younger than six months and Conformation classes are available for dogs being shown in the breed ring. Also, Canine Freestyle (dog dancing) class is held once a month and Rally classes are held periodically.
- How much do classes cost?

- Puppy: $95 for a six-week session.
- Beginning: $120 for a ten-week session. There is a $10 discount available for any dog adopted from an animal shelter or rescue organization.
- Novice: $12 for one drop-in session.
- Open: $14 for one drop-in session.
- Utility: $14 for one drop-in session.
- Conformation: $12 for one drop-in session.
- Rally: $12 for one drop-in session.
- What vaccinations are required to attend classes?
- All dogs must be current on their DHP, Parvo, and Rabies vaccinations. Puppies in the Puppy class must have at least two DHPP shots before the first class. Proof of current vaccinations is required for enrollment.
- Are there any prerequisites or minimum requirements for the classes?

- Puppy: For dogs that are three (3) to six (6) months in age.
- Beginning: For dogs that are six (6) months or older.
- Novice: For dogs that have completed a Beginning course.
- Open: For dogs that have a CD title.
- Utility: For dogs that have a CDX title.
- Conformation: Open to all dogs.
- Canine Freestyle (Dog Dancing): Open to all dogs.
- How do I sign up for a Puppy or Beginning class?
- You will need to contact us for a registration packet. Full payment is required to hold a space in a class. Classes are limited to 12 dogs and may fill in advance.
- How do I sign up for a Novice, Open, Utility, Conformation, or Canine Freestyle (Dog Dancing) class?
- There is no pre-enrollment for any of these classes. Just sign in and pay at the desk when you arrive for your class. If you have not trained at the SLDTC before, bring your dog's vaccination record with you the first time you come.
- What equipment will I need for my class?

- Puppy: A six-foot leather or fabric leash and a collar sized to fit your dog.
- Beginning: A six-foot leather or fabric leash and a collar sized to fit your dog.
- Novice: A six-foot leather or fabric leash and a collar sized to fit your dog.
- Open: A wooden or plastic retrieve dumbbell, in addition to a collar and leash.
- Utility: A set of 12 metal and leather scent articles and three predominantly white cotton work gloves, in addition to a collar and leash.
- Conformation: A light-weight show leash and collar.
- Canine Freestyle (Dog Dancing): A leash and well-fitting collar.
Quality collars, leashes, and dumbbells are available for purchase at the club at wholesale prices.
