Nov 29, 2012: Keaton turned 11 years old on November 29th.
Keaton is probably the smartest dog I have every owned, a schemer par excellence (especially where food or trouble are concerned) and a natural ham. At the moment, showing in obedience doesn't interest him. However, he loves freestyle obedience. Also, he has a natural and, sometimes, insatiable instinct to herd (if I ever get the time, I would love to try herding with him). Keaton's favorite toys - laser pointers and flashlights! Interesting tidbit: Keaton is Coulter's nephew (Keaton's father and Coulter are half brothers--same Dad).
