Notes & Brags:
  • Sep 2019: Lacy (FC Bonnfel's Spirit Hunter in Red Lace V Lookingglass SWA SCE CGC) competed in the Scent Work Trial in Lodi. She earned 2nd place and her 3rd leg in Excellent Exterior so we can add a new title, SEE, behind her name. She also qualified for her 1st leg with a 3rd place in Excellent Buried. The judge exclaimed that Lacy was the 1st dog to pass both of those tests that day.
  • Jan 2019: Lacy competed at the championship level at the field trial and finished in 2nd place.
  • May 2018: Lacy got her interior and buried AKC Scent Work titles at Boise. She got one 4th place, three 3rd places, one 2nd place, and two 1st places.
  • Jun 2017: Lacy was entered in the Reno Nosework NW1 test on June 4th. She was so fast that the test was over before you could blink. She won 1st place searching Containers and found the hide in 4.82 seconds. She won 1st place searching the Exterior and found that hide in 6.85 seconds. She won 2nd place, out of 44 dogs entered, with an Over-All speed of 1 minute 6 seconds in finding the hides. Best of all, she won her NW1 title. I am so proud of Lacey and so happy that she loves training for this sport. Thank you, Josette Kimes, for spending extra time with her to reinforce her staying at the hide once she’s found it.
  • Feb 2017: Lacy got 1st place, Best of Winner and Absolute in a Field Trial. She needs 4 points to finish her Field Championship.
  • Nov 2016: Lacy won Best Opposite Sex and earned another point towards her championship.
  • Sep 2016: Lacy was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex at the Lake Drake cluster.
  • Jul 2016: Lacy was Reserve both days at the Hurricane Ridge KC shows. Let's hope she doesn't follow in her grandsire's footsteps. He had 26 Reserves before going on to be BOB at Westminster.
  • Oct 2014: Lacy was the only dog to pass the IQ at the NCDC Intro to Quarry earthdog show at Dixon on Sunday. She couldn't wait to get down into the den.
